Backed by The Smeezingtons’ driving, piano-led boardwork, Bobby Ray drops lovestruck bars as agile as they are flattering, and R&B singer Bruno Mars seals the deal, serenading the woman in question with a silky-smooth bridge and chorus – he even manages to make a Nintendo 64 reference sound romantic, which, if you’d asked me yesterday, I would have told you was impossible. B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray, the rapper’s long-awaited studio debut, is set to hit record stores and online retailers sometime in spring 2010 April 27.
